Media Management holds the hotel's library of photos, videos and logos. There, media are uploaded or inserted, edited, assigned to albums and galleries, and assigned to the templates for offers and e-mails. The menu item opens “Photos and Videos” on the “Photos” tab.
Insert photos and videos
“Photos and Videos” lists the hotel's photos and videos on the “Photos” and “Videos” tabs. There they can be filtered, assigned to albums and buildings, and edited; they can only be archived as long as they are not used anywhere. “Insert photos or videos” uploads up to 50 photos at once and inserts videos as links.
Image galleries
On the “Photo gallery” and “Logo gallery” tabs, the hotel puts together galleries: a photo gallery from photos in the 16:9 format, a logo gallery from logos. Under “Usage in templates”, a photo gallery is assigned to the “Offer templates” and the “Selection action templates”, and a logo gallery is assigned per template as “Trust elements” or as “Partner logos”. Galleries are archived and reactivated, never deleted.
Logos
“Logos” lists all of the hotel's logos, and “Upload logos” takes up to 50 images at once. A logo is always saved uncropped.
Albums
“Manage the albums” lists the hotel's own albums. “New album” creates an album, which can be renamed in the list and deleted after a confirmation prompt. When an album is deleted, the assignment to this album is removed from all images; the images themselves remain.
Template media
“Template media” assigns the templates their header and footer images without opening the template. The template types are on the “Offers”, “Booking” and “Other” tabs. Every selection in the image picker saves the template immediately, and with “Copy media to clipboard” and “Paste media”, media can be copied from one template to another.
Merge images
“Merge images” combines duplicate images and shows them in groups of images with the same name; for each group, the hotel confirms one original image with “Confirm selected original image”. After “Merge all confirmed”, every use of the duplicates points to the original image, and the duplicates are archived.
Prerequisites
‘Media Management’ does not need a licence module of its own. With Offers, the template types for offers, for follow-ups and for rejections are added in “Template media”. With Guest Management, the template types for pre-stay, on-stay and post-stay are added in “Template media”. With Sales Campaigns, the “Selection Action Templates” are added in “Template media”.
Access to ‘Media Management’ is enabled for specific users through their role. The roles are managed by ReGuest Support.
