In Media Management, the hotel's logos are kept separate from photos and videos. From these logos the hotel puts together logo galleries, for example for partner logos in its offers. New logos go into the library under Media Management › Upload logos, and under Media Management › Logos they then appear in a list, where they can be found, edited and archived.
Example: Upload new partner logos and find them in the list
Open Media Management › Upload logos.
Select the logo files via “Browse files”, up to 50 at once.
Under “Preview / Confirmation”, each file appears as its own row. Take a file that does not belong there out of the list with “Remove image”; it is then not uploaded.
In the “Name/Description” column, check the title of each logo. The field is pre-filled with a title from the file name and can be changed; afterwards the logo can be searched for by this title in the list.
Click “Upload logos”, or “Upload logo” for a single file. The files that are uploaded are those that are not too large and are not yet in the library.
After the upload, click “Go to the list of all logos”. The page switches to the “Logos” list.
In the “Filter by name...” filter, enter the title of one of the new logos. The list shows the logo, and a click on it opens “Modify logo”.
The pages in detail
Logos
The list shows all of the hotel's logos. “Sort order” orders them by “Creation date” or by “Title”.
The filters narrow the list down:
“Filter by name...” searches in the title.
“All hotels” limits the list to the logos of one building. The filter appears only if the hotel has created buildings.
“Only archivable” shows only logos that can be archived because they are not used anywhere.
A click on a logo opens “Modify logo”. A logo's checkbox selects it for “Archive selected”. “Archive selected” archives the selected logos after a confirmation prompt. If one of them is still in use, the page archives none of them and names the ones affected.
Modify logo
“Current usage” shows where the logo is used.
When you edit a logo, there are no image sections, no albums and no “Exact fit” switch. A logo is always saved uncropped.
Upload logos
Here new logos go into the library, up to 50 images at once and no videos. The hotel selects the files via “Browse files”. Under “Preview / Confirmation”, each file then appears as its own row:
“Remove image” takes a file that has not been uploaded yet out of the list, so that it is not uploaded.
“Add more logos” shows the drop area again, to add more logos to the list as long as it holds fewer than 50 files.
If a file is too large, its row shows “The image file size is too large. The image will not be uploaded”.
“Name/Description” sets the title of the logo. The field is pre-filled with a title from the file name, and the title is saved on upload.
“Upload logos”, or “Upload logo” for a single file, starts the upload. The files that are uploaded are those that are not too large and are not yet in the library.
After the upload, the page shows two buttons: “Upload more images” shows the drop area again for a new upload, and “Go to the list of all logos” switches to the “Logos” list.

Frequently asked questions

Can a logo be deleted? No. Logos can only be archived.
Why can a logo not be cropped? A logo is always saved uncropped. Image sections and the “Exact fit” switch exist only for photos.
Why was a file not uploaded? It is too large, or the same image is already in the library. ReGuest support can give further information about this.
