Albums sort the hotel's photos and videos into groups. In the Photos and Videos list, the “All albums” filter then shows only the media of one album. The albums themselves are created by the hotel under Media Management › Manage the albums, where it also renames and deletes them.
Example: Create a “Summer” album and sort photos into it
Open Media Management › Manage the albums.
Click “New album”. The “Add album” dialog opens.
Under “Name”, enter “Summer” and click “Create”. The album then appears in the list.
Open Media Management › Photos and Videos and select the “Photos” tab.
Select the photos for the album.
With “Make selected available in the following albums...”, add the “Summer” album to the selected photos.
In the “All albums” filter, select “Summer”. The list shows exactly the photos of this album.

Manage the albums
The page lists the hotel's own albums in the “Album name” column. “Filter by name...” searches in the names of the albums.
“New album” opens the “Add album” dialog.
The “Edit” pencil icon in the row of an album makes its name editable. The changed name is saved as soon as you press the Enter key or leave the field; the Escape key discards the change.
“Delete” is shown as an icon at the end of every album row. After you click it, the page asks for confirmation, and only confirming with “Delete” deletes the album. The assignment to this album is removed from all images; the images themselves remain.
Photos and videos are not added to an album on this page, but elsewhere:
in the Photos and Videos list with “Make selected available in the following albums...”. The action only adds albums and never removes one.
under “Edit photo” and “Modify video” in the “Make available in the following albums” field. Only here can an album also be removed again.
when uploading photos under Media Management › Insert photos or videos: “Add album” creates a new album there, and checkboxes assign it to the photos.

The “Name” field is mandatory, and “Create” creates the album with this name.

‘Manage the albums’ does not need a licence module of its own.
Access to ‘Manage the albums’ is enabled for specific users through their role. Roles are managed by ReGuest support.

Why is “Media Management” missing from the menu? It appears only if the user's role includes access to it. Roles are managed by ReGuest support.
What happens to the photos when an album is deleted? The photos remain in the library. Only their assignment to this album is removed.
How do you take a photo out of an album again? Under “Edit photo”, in the “Make available in the following albums” field, remove the album. “Make selected available in the following albums...” in the Photos and Videos list does not remove an album.
