The “Profiling” tab shows a guest's tags, that is, the characteristics by which ReGuest groups guests, for example for campaigns. Here the hotel sees which tags a guest has and how they came about, and assigns further ones itself. The tab is under Guests Archive › (guest) › Profiling.
Example: Assign a tag to a guest manually
Open the Guests Archive menu item and click the guest. The guest record opens.
In the tab bar of the guest record, open the “Profiling” tab. The “Guest profiling tags” box shows the guest's tags as coloured labels.
Click “Add...”. You can choose tags from the groups “General”, “Nutrition” and “Profiling topic”.
Select the matching tag, for example from the “Nutrition” group.
The tag then appears as a label in the “Guest profiling tags” box, together with its parent tags. When you hover over it, it shows “Associated by user”.
The pages in detail
Profiling
The page has three boxes.
“Guest profiling tags” shows the guest's tags as coloured labels. When you hover over a label, it shows how the tag came about: “Associated by user”, “Automatically associated” or “Associated by import”. Next to it is the occasion, for example “from request” or “from messenger interaction”. It also shows who assigned it and until when it applies (“valid until”). If the guest has no tag, it shows “No tags exist for this guest.”
“Add...” assigns a tag from the groups “General”, “Nutrition” or “Profiling topic” manually. Its parent tags then also appear as a label in the box. The × on a label removes the tag together with its child tags immediately, without confirmation. On tags from an import the × is missing; on system tags it appears only on manually assigned ones from “Nutrition” and “Profiling topic”. An assignment cannot be changed.
ReGuest assigns many tags automatically: by age, addresses, reservations, offers, additional services, request sources and wish lists. If the guest clicks an interaction card in the messenger, they get its tag.
“Personal Data” shows the guest's type, gender and age, read-only.
“Labels from Requests and Reservations” is a read-only table, with the latest arrival first. It has the columns “Profiling topic”, “Source”, “Stay” and “Amount”. Under “Source” it shows “Request without offer”, “Not booked proposal” or “Reservation”.
