Under “Analytics”, a hotel evaluates its requests, offers and reservations, sees where its requests come from and how guests rate their stay, and exports its data. Which menu items a user sees depends on the hotel's licence modules and on their role.
Analysis & Trends
Shows dashboards from the provider Indicate in the tabs “Pickup”, “Performance Trends”, “Room Category Trends” and “Contact Development”. Before data appears, a staff member must agree once to the transfer of anonymised data to Indicate.
Offers and reservations
Shows, for a “Period”, requests, offers, “Click rate”, “Interaction rate”, reservations, “Booking rate” and “Revenue”, counted by the creation date of the communication. The “Booking funnel” tab shows the path from the request via the offer and the guest's click to the reservation.
Reservations by arrival date
Counts reservations and revenue by the arrival date, also for a period in the future. Unlike “Offers and reservations”, this page also counts communications that were already booked beforehand.
Requests
Three tabs: “Stay period” shows which stays guests request. “Lead time” shows how many days lie between request or reservation and arrival. “Weekday” shows “Requests per weekday in the period”.
Reports
Shows a summary report with requests, reservations, revenue and the “Average reply time”, as a “Daily report”, “Weekly report”, “Monthly report” or “Yearly report”. The daily, weekly and monthly reports can also be subscribed to by e-mail.
Request Sources
Evaluates the communications in the tabs “Channels”, “Sources” and “Campaigns”, each row with “Count”, “Percentage”, “Reservations” and “Revenue”.
Manage Request Sources
Defines which sources and campaigns exist. Detection rules assign the source codes of a request to a channel and, optionally, also to a source and a campaign. Only a user whose role includes access to it sees the menu item.
Website Messenger
Shows how visitors to the hotel website use the messenger: how often they open it, write, send requests and book. For this, the “Overview” shows a “Booking funnel” of the last 30 days.
Guest Profiling
Shows in the “Demographics” tab the languages and countries of origin of the guests and in the “Device type” tab the device with which a guest first opened the guest pages.
Offer Rejection Feedbacks
Shows the reasons guests gave when rejecting an offer: under “Reasons for the rejection” as a chart and list, and below that each individual response with “Name”, “Reason” and “Comment”.
Post-Stay Results
Shows how guests rated their stay in the post-stay message: the “Average rating in this period”, the distribution across the stars and each rating with its comment.
Upselling
Evaluates the additional services guests booked with their reservation: how many reservations have additional services and when they are booked.
Variable Costs
Shows “Incoming messages”, “Outgoing messages” and “Total costs” for the hotel's WhatsApp messages. The outgoing messages are additionally broken down by conversation category, by type and by country.
Data Export
Creates files with guest data or with requests, offers and reservations in the tabs “Guest data” and “Requests and offers”. “Prepare export” queues the export; once it is “done”, the file can be downloaded.
System log
Lists information, warnings and errors reported mainly by the connections to third-party services, for example to PMS and payment providers. Only a user whose role includes access to it sees the menu item.
Prerequisites
‘Analytics’ does not need a licence module of its own. With Offers, “Analysis & Trends”, “Offers and reservations”, “Reservations by arrival date”, “Requests”, “Reports”, “Guest Profiling”, “Offer Rejection Feedbacks” and “Upselling” are added. With Guest Management, “Post-Stay Results” and “Upselling” are added. With Upseller, “Upselling” is added. With Channels › WhatsApp™ Integration, “Variable Costs” is added. With Channels › Website Messenger, the “Website Messenger” menu item is added. With Multi-Property, a filter by building or hotel is added in several analyses.
Access to ‘Analytics’ is enabled for specific users through their role. Roles are managed by ReGuest support.
