Overview

The dashboard is the start page of the backoffice and is located under Dashboard. At the top are counters for requests, offers, messages and reservations, below them the statistics of the last 30 days.

Notifications

The bell icon in the header counts the tasks that are unread and not done. Its drop-down menu shows up to 20 of them, the newest first, and “To list” leads to the dashboard. When a new task arrives, a notice appears for eight seconds.

Tasks

A task records an event, for example a guest message or a new reservation. It is open or done. The task list can be filtered by status and period and searched by guest name and e-mail address via the search field “Notifications/tasks”. In an opened task, a button such as “To conversation” leads to the related place, and “Mark as done” closes the task.

Assignment to staff

In the “Assign” field of the opened task, a task can be assigned to one or more users and one team, or rules assign it automatically. The “Tasks” column to the left of the task list shows how many open tasks each person or team has. A click on “My tasks”, a user or a team shows only their tasks in the list.

Clickable counters

The counters at the top of the dashboard show, for example, “open requests”, “proposals in process”, “new messages” and “new reservations”. A click on a counter opens the matching, pre-filtered list. The counters are calculated when the dashboard is opened and via “Reload”.

Statistics of the last 30 days

Below the counters are boxes such as “Requests Statistics”, “Proposal Statistics” and “Reservation Statistics”. Below most key figures is the comparison with the same period one year earlier. A click on “requests in the last 30 days”, “sent proposals in the last 30 days” or “reservations in the last 30 days” opens the matching analysis.

Prerequisites

  • ‘Dashboard’ needs no licence module of its own. With Offers, “Clickable counters” and “Statistics of the last 30 days” are added. With Guest Management, the boxes “Online check-in” and “Online check-out (departures today and tomorrow)” are added. With Channels › Website Messenger, the split of the new messages into “from verified guests” and “from unverified users” is added. With Channels › WhatsApp™ Integration, the “WhatsApp statistic” box is added.

  • Access to ‘Dashboard’ is enabled for specific users through their role. The following need their own access in the role: “Statistics of the last 30 days” and the “Assign” field. Roles are managed by ReGuest support.
